Diamond Harbour is the untouched secret of New Zealand; 45 mins east of Christchurch and airport in the beautiful Banks Peninsula.
Shunyata Healing and Health Retreat can be accessed by ferry from Lyttelton and car from Christchurch and is about an hour from Akaroa. There is numerous beautiful coastal walks to be taken, lovely gardens to sit in and write up your journal, kayaking just down the hill and a beautiful nearly private beach 10 mins by car round the coast.
You will be picked up at airport if you come for the 3 day/2night package. If driving, you can take the Dyers Pass Road over the hill from Cashmere (end of Colombo St), over the hill and into Governors Bay. 20 mins further along the same road, you will get to Diamond Harbour. Go through Diamond Harbour and after the turn off to the Diamond Harbour Godley House, 10 Rawhiti St is the 2nd on the right before Purau beach.
The other option if you don't have a car is to catch a bus to Lyttleton and take the ferry over to Diamond Harbour (regular sailings), where I can pick you up at the wharf.
